Formation and Disassembly

Formation and Disassembly concerns the creeping entanglement of the human cycles of construction, deconstruction and reconstruction within the overarching construct of nature. It follows and expands on the journey of recurring, ready-made essentials - such as loose bricks and slates - which the artist finds respectively from washed away villages such as Eccles-Juxta-Mare on the diminishing East Anglian coast, and on the streets of windswept Leeds. He then re-examines their function in his work.
